Turning Point Summit 2022


Marking the International Day of Non-Violence

2nd - 7th October 2022

Turning Point Summit 2022 focused on educating and enabling youth to take nonviolent action as a “turning point” for the present and future generations. The summit spanned over 6 days, with several events such as a Youth Assembly, Workshop on Nonviolent Social Change, Youth-led co-creation session on strategies for a nonviolent world and artistic performances and role of arts in peace and nonviolence. The summit saw participation from 17 nations around the world, inspiring speakers from academia, leading international NGOs, and learning networks, youth-led organizations, and practitioners of nonviolence. Some of the key outcomes from the summit were the Youth Declaration on Nonviolence and youth-led strategies on nonviolence.
